The great Flood of Noah
Did the Great Flood recorded in biblical texts really occur? If so, what caused it? Where would enough water have come from to flood the entire Earth? And, more significantly, where did all the water go in order for the flood to subside?
Suddenly, these basic unanswered issues have been elevated by recent bewildering finds. Science has discovered evidence of another great flood, similar in ways to that reported in biblical texts. But this one didn't occur on the Earth, it occurred on Mars.
Transmitted images reveal water eroded channels, tributaries and drainage networks crossing the dry Martian surface for 100s of kilometres. Broken blocks mark the place where the waters emerged from beneath the planet's surface.
This presented a particularly difficult problem. It is not possible for water to exist as a liquid in the low pressure atmosphere of Mars. So, how could such a flood happen?
Knowledge of inner planetary structure provides not only the flood's source but also a direct connection between the flood on Mars and the Great Flood on Earth.
